Samuel Lee’s first poetry collection, A Field Guide to Supermarkets in Singapore (Math Paper Press/Ten Year Series, 2016), was awarded the Singapore Literature Prize in 2018, making him the youngest winner of the prize to date. Trained in art history and literature at the National University of Singapore, Yale University and the University of Chicago, he is a writer, researcher and occasional organiser of things. He lives in Singapore, where he works at the National Heritage Board.
